Trade shows are the best way to make aware a larger audience about the offerings of a particular industry or a business entity while reducing the costs associated with it dramatically. It all happened in the decade of the sixties of the previous century, when the trade associations were in the development or expansion phase. Understanding productive evolution, it was made mandatory for each industry of the trade to hold annual shows to represent and implement their marketing and promotion strategies to aid the boost of sales and awareness of the products and services to a larger audience. This commenced the trade shows tradition which was backed by the Center for Exhibition Industry Research, and was attended by hundreds of people and attracted media coverage as well.

Trade shows are the excellent tools in highlighting the functionality of the products and services in a ‘you-attitude’ manner. Despite the fact that the trade shows costs were very high prior to previous five decades, they have now simmered down to their half. Furthermore due to more variety one can seek for various types of selections pertaining to the displays that they require for their stalls and booths. Sometimes, the business entities carry their older displays of trade shows to the upcoming ones. This leads to incurring the costs related to shipping, which can add up to a significant amount. With the constant increase of the oil prices, the business entities are now forced to think about the costs related with carrying over the displays from one destination to another along with the related issues of maintenance and updating.
